Hi, I’m Nathalia, but you can call me Nat! Before launching gngr bees, I had the opportunity of a lifetime — to go swimming with a humpback whale family in Tonga. Fast forward a few months and I was back in the UK watching the news. A humpback whale had washed ashore dead with a lot of plastic in its stomach. I was shocked and horrified to see that the plastic inside the whale came from many of the brands that exist today. It immediately became clear to me that I needed to take action — gngr bees was born.

Founded by me, Nathalia Grisard, in 2019, gngr bees is a London-based activewear brand that aims to change the world. What started as a love for wildlife quickly grew into a true passion to make the planet a better place for all. We strive to ethically produce clothing from materials that have been disposed of, reclaimed, upcycled and recycled. From the raw materials and packaging used to the manufacturing, transport and logistical operations, we’re working hard to make conscious business decisions that can help us create a brighter future for our planet and ourselves.

While activewear is a big part of the gngr bees brand it’s so much more than that. It’s about redefining sustainability and educating people on how they can live more responsibly. It’s about knowing we each have the power to individually save this planet but if we all work together we can truly make an impact. It’s about funding projects, communities and people around the world.
